I remember meeting Gordon when visiting Norfolk after moving in with Emma in Gipsy Hill. We ate an amazing dinner cooked by him and Jamie, and I remember Gordon’s twinkling eyes and cheeky charm and soft voice. He made us all smile and feel special. I think that’s it, he had a way of making you feel like you were something special. Watching the family together on that atmospheric evening, where Jamie played, we ate yummy food, and talked and talked, I felt truly blessed to have been welcomed into their lovely home and seemingly their hearts. What a wonderful family they are and I know Em felt truly blessed to see out the extra years with him that she didn’t necessarily expect to have. I was not a person to have met him lots and lots, but he left a real impact. He was one of life’s shiny pebbles. May you rest in peace Gordo. The Gipsy Hill girls held you very dear xxxxx
