One of life’s true gems, a real gent and all round wonderful man. I had the pleasure of teaching with Gordon between 2000-2003. He made me feel so welcome and imparted much wisdom. He even offered to act as a referee with another colleague, should I want to move to Walsingham. His stories were captivating and I, like many others, would spend some time chatting about everything from stories about his life and family, to amusing stories like the dead, mummified stoat he kept on his pocket. He really did touch everyones’ life. My thoughts go to his family at this very sad time.
